The study

  1. Who took part

200 staff from public and private firms in Iran, split into two groups of 100. The groups were alike in gender, years of work and schooling.

  2. What they did

One group had training built around how each person learns best. It used workshops, practice tasks, group problem-solving, real work tasks and steady feedback. The other group had the usual training. The paper does not say how many sessions there were or how long they lasted.

  3. What happened

Time-management scores rose about twice as much with the matched training. The paper gives no test for time management alone. Its numbers don't always agree and parts of the text are garbled, so take this result with care.
