The study
Who took part
86 female nursing students at a university in Saudi Arabia. Their average age was about 21, and three in four lived in cities.
What they did
Students were split at random into two groups of 43. The programme group had five 8-hour sessions in September and October 2023. They learned to plan the week, rank tasks and use time management tools, with role play and group talks. The other group did not get the programme.
What happened
At the start, both groups rated their time management about the same. At the end, the programme group rated it higher. More of them got top grades: 14 of 43 got an excellent grade, against 6 of 43. The paper’s numbers don’t add up, so we can’t give sizes.
